Mena Alexandra Suvari (born on the 13th of February, 1979) is a famous American actress fashion designer and model. In 1990, shortly following her debut as a model, Suvari started to act in television programs like Boy Meets World. In 1997, she made her debut as an actor in the film Nowhere. Her performances on American Beauty - for which the actress was nominated to be awarded a BAFTA Award - and American Pie, which garnered her greater attention, she transitioned into bigger roles. In the following years, she appeared as the main character on the screen in Sugar & Spice (2000) with American Pie star Jason Biggs. Spun, an independent drama from 2002 and the thriller film Trauma (2004) are the two films she has made her most recent appearances. In addition, she was a part of the HBO drama Six Feet Under. The series was a hit in 2004, and in 2005, the Screen Actors' Guild awarded her the title of one of the outstanding cast members. Suvari was also featured in Day of the Dead and The Mysteries of Pittsburgh, and the film versions of The Garden of Eden.
