Rachel Emily Nichols

Rachel Emily Nichols was the daughter of Alison Nichols and James Nichols. She was born in Augusta Maine. The girl is of French Canadian, German and Irish origin. She attended and completed her studies at Cony High School in Augusta which was where she participated in the high jump. Columbia University in New York City gave her a double major in math and economics. She began modeling, launching her career in the industry with work for a variety of high-profile brands like Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch and L'Oreal. Rachel began acting and was offered a part on the HBO situation comedy Sex and the City (1998) when she made her first audition. Her first film role was Jessica Matthews in Dumb and Dumberer: The Story of How Harry Met Lloyd (2003). She continued to be successful with performances in projects such as The Amityville Horror (2005), The Inside (2005), Alias (2001), G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009), Criminal Minds (2005) (a recurring role as FBI Agent Ashley Seaver) and Conan the Barbarian (2011). She played the main role of police officer Kiera Cameron on the science-fiction series Continuum (2012).Attended and graduated from Columbia University with a double major in economics and math. She was a model for Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch, L'Oreal and Nicole Miller. Her first audition was that of a restaurant hostess for Sex and the City (1998). Cony High School was where she graduated. Her maternal grandmother had English, Scottish and Northern Irish ancestral roots. Nichols and Zoe Saldana, her Star Trek: (2009) co-star as co-stars, went on to work alongside Stephen Lang. Saldana as well as Lang were in Avatar (2008); Nichols and Lang in Conan the Barbarian (2011). On December 30 2013, she got engaged to real property developer Michael Kershaw. She is naturally blonde.
